Broken Heroes

The book of Judges follows a cycle. Israel rebels, God punishes Israel, Israel Cries out to God, God has Mercy and appoints a judge, The judge delivers Israel, Israel has peace, And then the cycle continues. The entire theme of this book is the faithfulness of God despite the faithlessness of his people.
